Her striking beauty and confidence quickly caught the attention of top designers, leading her to work with brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, DKNY, and Maybelline.
Selita reached new heights in 2005 when she was named a Victoria’s Secret Angel, an honor that placed her among the elite supermodels of the fashion industry.

Her moment of true international recognition came in 2007, when she was selected to wear the $4.5 million Fantasy Bra, making history as one of the few Black models to achieve this milestone.
Beyond the runway, Selita explored acting, appearing in BET’s Husbands of Hollywood and How I Met Your Mother. She also featured in Kanye West’s visionary film Runaway.

Her business acumen shined when she launched Sass, her very own swimwear and accessories brand, proving that she was not just a model, but a creative entrepreneur.
